Yes. In our 5+ yrs programs, children participate in small-sided, non-competitive games. These matches help children apply what they've learned, develop game awareness, improve decision-making, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
For our 2-4yrs program we introduce the 1vs1 game play

Intro to Micro (Ages 5-6)
Players begin developing more advanced soccer skills while being introduced to teamwork, game awareness, and simple tactics.
Micro (Ages 6-8)
A structured program focusing on technical skills, creativity, communication, game understanding, and confidence in match situations.
Micro Plus (Ages 8-12)
The next step in our development pathway. Players continue refining their technical skills while building tactical awareness, leadership, decision-making, teamwork, and confidence in more challenging game scenarios. This program helps prepare children for club soccer and future development opportunities.

By this stage, players have built strong foundations, confidence, and a love for the game. Many are ready to take the next step by attending local club trials, joining community teams, and applying the skills, teamwork, and resilience they have developed throughout their Grasshopper Soccer journey.______________
