We yesterday shared Lucas\u2019s journey and his dad\u2019s interview, here\u2019s a bit more about that<\/p>\n

Every big dream starts with a small step\u2026 and for Lucas, that journey began at Grasshopper Soccer.<\/p>\n

Today, we\u2019re incredibly proud to celebrate Lucas, who has been selected to represent Australia in the Under 9s in Portugal this December! \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf9<\/p>\n

Lucas built his foundations with Grasshopper Soccer before progressing to his local FC club.<\/p>\n

Through hard work, dedication and a love for the game, he\u2019s now earned the opportunity to wear the green and gold \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddfa<\/p>\n

When Lucas\u2019s dad shared the news with me on Saturday, I couldn\u2019t have been prouder. Seeing Lucas back at our Craigieburn session on Sunday celebrating with our coaches and players was a special moment we\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n

This is exactly why we do what we do.<\/p>\n

At Grasshopper Soccer, we don\u2019t just develop footballers\u2014we help children build confidence, resilience, teamwork, friendships and a lifelong love of sport. Lucas is living proof of what can happen when kids are given the right environment to learn, grow and believe in themselves.<\/p>\n
